Elizabeth Dychter

Member of the International Academy of Ceramics based in Switzerland


Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on January 12th, 1966.
In 1985/86 studies Fashion Desing in ABM.
In 1986 starts taking tapestry classes with Prof. Rosa Chernoff.
In 1988 begins learning ceramics with Prof. Alejandra Jones.
In 1991/92, takes pottery lessons at El Patio de Dorrego, with Prof. José Arpi.
Studies glaze, raku with Prof. Alejandra Jones.
Takes workshops of sawdust fiering techniques and glazes with israeli professor Yehuda Koren, in the IUNA, College of Arts. Participates in the workshop “Jornadas Internacionales de Cerámica” 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008, at the Architecture Museum of Buenos Aires, and 2010/11 in Atac.
2012 makes an Artist in Residency experience in Vallauris, France. 2013 Artist in Residency in C.r.e.t.a. Rome, Rome, Italy, Vallauris, 2014, Faenza Art Ceramic Center, Faenza, Italy 2019 and 2023.
